A custom designed solution for any '67 or '68 Mustang owner who has ever wanted a tachometer for their car but doesn't want to pay an exorbitant price for a genuine GT cluster. The RetroGauge™ Mini-Tach is an ideal solution for the following good reasons:
- No cutting or modifying any part of the dash or cluster whatsoever;
- Simply replaces the plastic blank (crosshairs) or clock in the instrument cluster;
- Illuminated by the existing dash lights so no extra lighting is needed;
- Only two new wires required - one for the feed and one for the signal;
- Characters and dial emulate the existing instruments for an authentic look;
- Available in both 6000 and 8000 RPM versions (V8 only at this time);

The RetroGauge™ Mini-Tach is manufactured in Australia from components sourced from various suppliers worldwide. Constructed from high quality materials, the Mini-Tach utilizes a moving coil type movement for accuracy, response and repeatability. Each Mini-Tach is assembled, balanced, calibrated and tested prior to boxing so you can be confident of receiving a quality product.

How To Buy A RetroGauge™ Mini-Tach
Presently, we only sell our Mini-Tachs on eBay and they are easy to find. Simply search Mustang Mini-Tach or alternately, by our eBay user ID 'retrogauge'. If you click on this link you will be taken directly to current ebay auctions for the Mini-Tachs. If you are unable to locate our auction please email us directly on info@retrogauge.com for further information.
Warranty
The RetroGauge™ Mini-Tach is 100% tested prior to being despatched. A sticker is applied to the outside of the housing at the time of checking. The Mini-Tach is calibrated to suit a 4 cycle 8 cylinder gasoline engine and is not suitable for use on any other type of engine.
We will warrant the Mini-Tach for 90 days from date of sale subject to the following:
- Must be installed and wired as per the instructions included.
- Must be handled in a careful manner so as not to cause physical damage.
- Postage must be prepaid for the return of a faulty item to us. If the unit is warrantable we will pay for the postage back to you.
- The warranty will be voided if the unit is burned out (incorrect wiring).
